Located 26km north of the township of Holbrook. Lockerbie plays a pivotal role within the Burgess Rural portfolio adding livestock diversity suited to the higher rainfall of that region. The farm over the past few years has undertaken significant re-pasture works to 1,250ha to transform the property from what was once a pine plantation

Lockerbie comprises scenic undulating hills and some steep ridges that rise 200 metres from the lower creek lines. Lockerbie runs a Dual-Purpose Sheep and Angus Beef enterprise. Lockerbie sources its Merino Ewes for its Dual-Purpose operation from our Wool Flocks on our Burgess Rural Victorian properties. With a program of constantly improving pastures and soil fertility our goal is to lift the clean wool per hectare and kilograms of beef and lamb produced per hectare.
